Bio
Kare Rae is a singer/songwriter who grew up in the Appalachian Mountains back a little dirt road and near her Grandma's 100+ year old log cabin. She began playing guitar and writing songs shortly after graduating from high school. She traveled extensively in the East Coast playing coffee houses, churches and festivals. This collection is a nod to those simpler times.
Kare Rae is a cancer survivor. Soar and I Wanna Stay are songs written as a result of this experience. She hopes you find them helpful and encouraging!
Someone Who Saw
I lost another one today;
I saw it fall and float away;
So slowly, gently drifting down
Until at last it hit the ground;
No one around me stopped to see
I lost a little piece of me;
But wait there is someone who saw;
Who knows all things about us all;
Who notices and truly cares;
So much he even counts our hairs.
